2015 marks Sensi Seeds 30th anniversary! A seedbank going that long has got to be good, right?
Ben Dronkers, founder of Sensi seeds, began collecting in 1975 when he began growing his own plants and saving seeds from only the best plants, as well as being gifted many quality strains. This soon became a dedicated effort to collect and categorize every strain he found, creating an extensive bank of genetics for which to work from.
From the 70's through to the 80's, Ben traveled the globe, collecting and sourcing seeds with top quality genetics locked away inside.
Come forward to 1984 and we see Ben moving from collecting and categorizing, to utilising his impressive collection to breed. A year later the first wave of stable hybrids made their way over to Holland from the US, and Sensi Seeds were one of the 1st 3 breeders to acquire these strains.
Utilising these new stable hybrid cannabis strain, and Ben's extensive strain collection, they were able to breed some of the best quality strains the world had seen at that time; and so Sensi Seeds was born in 1985!
Since then Sensi have only gone from strength to strength. Refining hybrids to create the best possible strains, and then enhancing them with their own breeds of superior herb.
